Don’t panic

In our minds we hug our friends and family. There is a threat but nothing concrete except fear and misinformation.

In actuality we keep six feet between us but find ways to embrace and connect.

In the space between we acknowledge the possibility of the probability.

Plans change and we adapt. I wish for a crystal ball to see what will happen. Maybe Crystal has some sage advice.

The fragrance of hand sanitizer and bleach wipes hopefully will be replaced by the aroma of Spring.

I am grateful we are not at war with a horde of viruses. Yet…

Resting so I will be ready. Soon the” tornado” warning will pass and we will emerge to go on.

But this mortal reminder will teach us to treasure and remind us to measure each moment.

Wash your hands! Don’t panic!
