I woke up but then laid down to rest my eyes and fell  back to sleep.

Sweet slumber punctuated with a daymare that had me shaking.How nice to wake up and see the gentle rain and not the storms I had dreamed of.

I have to go out so my time of no responsibility will not last but nice to  listen to the peaceful rain and the soothing lull of the AC.

I check my phone and the ranting and chanting of a crazed world seems surreal.

Hubby is sleeping now. The dog always sleeps and the cats have found hidey holes to nap.

Noon now and I will remember that once in a time of turmoil there was a morning when all was calm and serene.
