You Got This Girl

Diabetes has been with me my adult life whispering and murmuring but more of an  inconvenience than a threat but yesterday the doctor had unexpected news. Numbers have changed. The wolf is at the door.

Grateful for the kind people who are leading me through. The nurse, the pharmacist, my insurance agent,my Hubby , my friends.

My glucometer will be my friend. It will tell me what is working and where I need to adjust.

New medication, pricey but what is the cost of feeling better.

Looking at it as a project . What can I eat? Trying to be creative.

It was diagnosed. I have a medical team. I have a support system. I am OK.

  1. Thanks Crystal. I am blessed to have a positive attitude. One more hill to climb and the view should be amazing.
