You Are Not Alone

“Dear Evan Hansen” describes through acting and music the world of anxiety and depression. The music is haunting .The acting is superb.

Grateful they made this movie. They sang out about mental illness and didn’t avoid the hard feels.

Grateful to those who tended to me till I found my laugh again. Thank you to the listeners in my life.

Grateful for my circle of friends who understand and lift me to my feet when I have stumbled.

Grateful for those who have not experienced it but embrace my soul.

Be aware of the masks we wear. Masks are commonplace (with COVID). Masks shield the soul from judgement and involvement.Masks can keep you from healing.

Even if you don’t have a label you know someone who does. We are here to care for each other. You are not alone.

  1. MaryEllen,
In a frightfully unpredictable world, there is always something to count on in your wise words.
Today, I am blessed by your words, especially these, “Grateful to those who tended to me till I found my laugh again. Thank you to the listeners in my life.”

Golly, your words brought out so many faces and names! Thank you! h.
