Lucky because the booms I heard were just fireworks.
Lucky because cut on my foot is healing. Soak, medicine and sock!
Lucky because with the help of my Church friends the raffle went well, the pancake breakfast was a success and we sold some drinks and popcorn for retreat money.
Lucky because though it is going to be hot we have air conditioners.
Lucky because I have no obligations today. An adult snow day!
Lucky that I have books to read!
Lucky we have food and water. Need to drink some!
Wishing you a lucky day!
I love your – adult snow day!
Lefty Gomez, the great pitcher on the Yankees teams of the 1930s, said “I’d rather be lucky than good.” (He was very, very good.) Here’s to continued good luck to you in the days ahead, Mary Ellen. <3
Luck is a matter of perspective (like gratitude)
