10. the millions of baseball games I got to watch when my grandsons did Little League this Summer — kids’ baseball is the absolute best!
11. going to all kinds of concerts this Summer with my Dad – he’s 95 and appreciates all kinds of music, although when I asked him how he liked one avant garde blues concert, he said it was “voluminous cacophony”!!!!
12. making fairy gardens, especially last night at a local workshop — miniature roses, a fern, thyme, hens and chicks, a little white bench, a fairy gazing ball, a little lantern, some pebbles, beautiful stones, and a clay piece with “love” on it!!
I think I could make a list of 100 things that have been wonderful about this Summer! I feel utterly grateful.
Carol, have been smiling all day about your Dad’s “voluminous cacophony! Love it! What a great guy! Thanks, Jean
