1. I am so grateful for my parents. It is such a comfort to know that I can count on them, without fail.
2. They spent two days with us, freezing corn and canning green beans. What a relief to have my mom’s help!!! Dad helped, too. He and Logan spent hours shucking corn and snapping beans.
3. Having enough to make sure that they will have plenty of vegetables to eat all winter, too. It feels so nice to take care of them.
4. Youtube playlists…We may have driven them crazy with The Beatles on day one, so we mixed it up on day two, and had so much fun singing and dancing.
5. Taking a day off…Well, I ended up cleaning the basement but I didn’t dye anything or can anything, so I’m good with it!
6. A much needed catch up phone call
7. Sharing all the wonderful things that I’ve been learning
8. Forgiveness
9. Riding my bike while my husband runs
10. Ellie brought Logan some books to read…It is so sweet that she shares her love of reading with him and encourages him. What a pair! <3
So great that you are sharing all of the “wonderful things” you’ve been learning! And great quality time with your parents! I’ve never met them, but I’ve always felt that they are wonderful people, by the way you talk about them. So glad they came to visit you and Wayne and Logan!
