Blue House Gratitudes

Grateful to our blue house

So cozy and full of books!

I also have a roommate – my fun and wonderful husband Tom!

Our kitchen is bright and playful

Our living room looks like a Grandma lives here (that would be me)

The decorating theme is cheerful.

Our yard is a double lot and is my gardening playground!

We have been in our house over 50 years!

Hooray for 628 – our wonderful blue house with dark gray shutters!

A Happy Book Day!

Tutoring reading this morning in fourth grade!
:
I love the book we are reading:

“The Spiderwick Chronicles”

I read the first one and got two more at the library today.

And today I got a much awaited book at the library:

“In the Form of a Question” by Amy Schneider

I came home and read for the afternoon!

She’s my favorite Jeopardy contestant and she’s a great writer!

Got a speaker to play music on my cell phone today – hooray!

Dear God – thank you for the privilege of this day.

Bye Bye Cold!

Thank you to Mucinex and Delsym cough syrup
for pulling me out of this cold faster than I thought possible!

Thank you to Lawson’s Chip Dip and Ruffles Potato Chips,
a traditional family solution to any illness!

I took a wonderful Zentangle gourd ornament class tonight
which was fun and engaging!

It was at the Akron Art Museum which made it even more fun!

So grateful not to be sleeping my life away!

Thanks Taylor Swift!

Woke up early and got a lot done.

I am trying to train myself to get up earlier.

I’ve got up 8ish 4 days in a row!

I am totally a night person – a reading night person.

Saw Taylor Swift’s The Era’s Concert tour movie with my daughter.

It was stupendous! So much energy! Amazing! 3 hours!

Now I am a Swiftie sure!

Yippee yo yo YO!

Thankful Thursday

Good news from the oral surgeon!

Thank heavens!

Lunch with Tom – always fun!

Lunch with husbandTom, which is always a privilege!

Spending time with my friend David.

Delicious leftover dinner.

Jeopardy with Tom!

So Grateful

This has been a tough day

But then I remembered how healing gratitude is!

So thankful to Paul for helping me clean out garage.

Morning glories are still blooming – heavenly blue.

Out to dinner with Tom

Watching Jeopardy is our routine – Tom is really accurate!

Watched the movie, Dumb Money – still don’t understand it.

Grateful for this life and all the chances and choices!

Fall Days of Gratitude

What could be better on a nice Fall day than a hike with a friend.

Mary Ellen and I walk and talk!

It’s great to have a friend who listens!

Fresh corn on the cob for dinner!

Making brownies for a church meeting.

The kitchen smells like chocolate. Hooray!

Almost every weeknight is Jeopardy for Tom and me.

Another grateful day. Thank you, God!
