2. We were lucky. Winds and rain but no storm damage, to meet the eye. Others not so fortunate.
3. Another storm coming amidst glimpses of spring.

5. particularly the one we can’t name (like a fuchsia) that kept falling off the shelf into Cassie’s cart at the store, she decided it was meant to be. The plant thrived and has no flowers at the moment, though its tendrils wrap around the mauve pitcher protruding from the dining room shelves.
