  • …Found car keys…Found wedding rings in purse…didn’t know they were lost while searching for keys…
  • …Call from Costco, they found GPa’s white cane…didn’t know it had been left/lost :)…

  • A lovely Thanksgiving dinner and gathering at our son and wife’s new home…their 1st Thanksgiving in new home…a beautiful sunny and warm day!  Family
  • A favorite prayer: Thank you for the food before us, the family beside us, and the love between us.
  • The 79 ft. Christmas tree that came from the Kootenai Forest in western Montana and traveled by truck to be displayed at the White House in Washington D.C.  Stopped at a number of towns along the way….and, yes, here in Helena as well.  The 3rd tree that Montana has supplied for the White House.

  • Our neighbor Luann’s shrimp chowder….omg! absolutely delicious! So happy she shared with us.

  • Family member who will be 60 soon…thinking about decade beginnings:  20, thinking about being 21:); 30, okay but thinking about being over the hill;  40, life begins?; 50, ready for AARP; 60, retirement soon?; 70,80,90,100 grateful for health and each day!  Aha! Which one are you? LOL

  • Among other things, she had been an Olympic speed skater…
  • …if she was told she couldn’t do something, she would excel at it
  • Our son was one of many people paying last respects to her at the Capitol rotunda
  • He wears a “turtle” pin from her…she believed “If you don’t stick your neck out, nothing will happen.”

  • David observing a magnificent huge Golden Eagle flying over his house….awesome wing span!  They are beautiful.
  • Oops, my computer stopped running about a week ago…our tech savvy gson Austin came to our rescue, found whatever it was and had it resolved in half an hour! God Bless Austin!
  • Okay, we have Halloween soon….Thanksgiving….and am thinking Christmas….have several gifts purchased and checkin’ off my list :)

  • GPa shoveled deck and sidewalk…several inches, wet and heavy snow

  • Okay, dear friends, I had shared our two weddings this summer…a granddaughter in Oregon and a grandson in Montana….
  • We have been anticipating another gson’s wedding next summer in Washington…
  • …they went to Hawaii this week and eloped!! ♥♥  Very happy for them!   
  • A summer of weddings :)

  • We are continuing to be blessed with rain and snow!
  • Shared with you our trip to Oregon for our granddaughter’s July wedding…
  • …we’ve had another wedding (grandson) in Bozeman earlier this month…
  • no ocean beaches here :) but beautiful mountain lakes and streams.
  • Love, open arms and welcoming for each member of our Ohio family, oh my how wonderful to be able to touch them and hug them.
  • Being able to have a picture of our six grandchildren, residing in Oregon, Washington, Ohio, Montana, and, again, love and touching and hugs.
  • An actual week of festivities and fun…with the wedding, the rehearsal dinner at a family’s home outside near a mountain stream and a campfire; the wedding at Hyalite Canyon next to a lake; the reception with music and dancing in town; the Sunday morning brunch at mother of the bride’s horse ranch.
  • Other fun things were Crystal’s book signing at WSS; sapphire digging; well, a lot more :)
