Oh Goodness, wish you could all be here with us right now :)…

….GPa is making his world famous caramel corn…it is absolutely heavenly!
A week ago we had a 3.5 earthquake which Cathy said sounded exactly like a locomotive coming through their livingroom…wow! No damage, however..:)
Several days later, as a result of high winds, trees were blown down on various power lines and over 4,000 people were without power (we were fine)…so grateful for the linemen who came to the rescue and got it all up and running!
Excited when in their last game Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers threw the winning hail mary, miracle in Motown, pass, caught by Richard Rodgers…be grateful for those rare things :)

Finding the recipe in my Mother’s very old cookbook, where she wrote “X Best”…Thanks, Mom :)
My decorating these cookies so imperfectly….all fun :)
One of my very fondest life memories was with my Granddaughter when she was a little girl and decorating Christmas cookies from these (her Great Great Grandmother’s) cookie cutters….it remains a time close to my heart!
For the past six days we have been without internet. Very LONG story short: I was on the phone for a total of appox. 10 hrs. with at least a dozen techs (Century Link’s huge error). Then yesterday thanks to Portia, a tech from Neb., who figured it all out and resolved it after two hours plus. God Bless Portia…she put forth her all ! During that time I was guided to refer her to Creative Spiritual Women and WLG…she exclaimed that this was exactly what she had been seeking at this time of her life. We then agreed that perhaps this is why we were drawn together for resolution and peace for both of us.
This morning we had internet service! The past week we’ve felt like we were “rode hard and put away wet” :):)
Grateful for Tom and Randall
Grateful for Rick here in Montana who extended extra effort and came to our home to help us.
Missed going to WLG each morning and was so glad to come here today, welcoming all of your comments and lists :)
Read somewhere: “If a dog is fat you’re not getting enough exercise.” :)
A gorgeous sunny, 30 degree autumn morning for our walk (Cookie needed the exercise LOL)
“I had always imagined paradise as a kind of library.” -Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges
“Few pleasures are as enduring as a great book–the kind that transports or transforms us, makes us cry on airplanes, or laugh out loud, even when we’re alone.” -anon.
Surprises while purging papers
Moving furniture, cleaning livingroom…sooo grateful that GPa and I are able and have energy to do this :)
Watching our neighbor’s tree change with the seasons…so pretty…pink buds in the spring, green in the summer, autumn orange, and plain with white snow.
A black bear deciding to go to school one morning at Bozeman high school and was roaming the halls…students (who had to go their rooms, of course) were more interested than afraid because they see so many bears in Montana :)
A’s wonderful new job!!
