A friend telling us about driving, as slowly as possible, in a snow storm years ago into a herd of deer on the interstate, seeing eyes all around her car and when she finally arrived home, checking the car to see if there was deer hair on the car….weird but true.

The special Bible that my daughter, sil, and granddaughter gave me many years ago…has been and is a part of my day, each day.
Am writing this because my memories of her are absolutely joy filled from the time I was a young lady until these past years.
We had long telephone conversations sprinkled with laughter :)
She had lived in Florida for many years and loved not being in the snow and cold :):)
She had abundant energy!
About 5 yrs. ago she drove, alone, from Florida to Wis. and back..took her time..brought fun into lives along the way…
…oh, and she told me she wanted to wear her “real” jewelry on her trip but was discouraged by others…I was one who cheered her on…she wore it and sparkled and smiled all the way!:)
Thelma was faith filled and fearless.
Things must have been getting pretty quiet in Heaven and there was a need for angelic excitement so they sent for Thelma!
My cousin recently found a homeless miniature Dachshund on the road, rescued her, adopted her, and named her Sophie..her German Shepherd and Lab both welcomed Sophie!
A re-located and tagged Black Bear made a 60-mile two-week trek back and was again re-located.
