A New Year of We Love Gratitude!

Happy 2012 to each of you!

This morning I read something that I wanted to share with you…it’s titled “2012 This is the Year to Up Your Gratitude.”  As I reviewed the article I was even more aware of how blessed we are to have Belle’s We Love Gratitude and be able to express and exchange our gratuitous thoughts and feelings.

This paragraph is from “A Simple Act of Gratitude” by John Kralik.  He talks about writing and sending a year of thank you notes and this is a card/note he gave to a Starbucks barista:

“Knowing that you had to work on Thanksgiving of all days, I thought I’d express my gratitude that you have taken the time and made the effort to learn my name and greet me each day in a way that makes me feel like a person instead of a number.  It’s a small thing, but on any given day, it can make all the difference.  Thank you!”

We all go out and in one way or another spread joy into the world with positive thoughts permeating the universe.  :)

Thank you, Belle, for creating WLG so that we can offer, share, and receive written expressions of gratitude!

shortest day

Today is the shortest day of the year…grateful for it because the days will be getting longer and more light!

Met a lady at Costco who had four huge huge huge bags of dog food in her cart…we smiled at each other and I said “we have a miniature schnauzer”…I think she has St. Bernards!!

Garrett’s mention of the “southern accent” reminded me of the lovely accents of my family members who live in the south.  I love hearing all of our various “accents”…from “y’all” to my neighbor’s “pahk the cahr” (he’s from Maine).  Thanks for the memories, Garrett!

GPa’s abundant gifts of appreciation from his school bus children and their parents.

My precious granddaughter who left her teens and became 20 this week..she had some anxiety with it…imagine that :):)
