- Grateful for health insurance after this week of X-Rays, Cortisone shot in my knee, MRI on knee and hip, injection in my hip.
- Looking towards a future of good mobility again. I just have to be patient.
- Grateful that my health issues are not worse. Many more people in more pain and have worse health issues.
- God.
- Good friends from church inviting me and my son for Easter dinner on Sunday.
- Wonderful coworkers who worked it so I could leave early a couple times this week to make my doctor appointments.
- Being able to join my family and see my grandson at his 6th birthday. :)
- Laughter, it really is the best medicine.
- A day off to rest my body.
- Being sober during my knee and hip issues. :) Thanks to God, A.A. and all the people who helped me along the way.
- My mom, may she RIP, would have been 45 years sober yesterday had she lived. Her last great gift before she died almost 30 years ago was to get me on the path to sobriety. :) <3
- The snow, although not crazy about it at this time of year, is pretty. :)
- Good food this past week.
- My son. I love him to pieces.
- A good Ortho doc to take care of me.

God is good.
- God really is good.
- I got to see lots of family this weekend.
- Great church service and lunch with friends today.
- Talking with my mother-in-law, who I have known longer than my own mother who passed away in 1988.
- Good food all weekend.
- My wonderful son and his good friends.
- Getting to see the ortho doc tomorrow.
- An invitation to a friend’s house for Easter Sunday dinner.
- Being able to relax this evening and rest up for work.
- Being sober another day.
Good but long week…..
- Long but productive week at work.
- I was able to get an appointment for this coming Monday to see Orthopaedic doc for my knee.
- My grandson, JoJo, turned 9 yesterday and we got to celebrate his birthday with him.
- A family member received his 36 years sobriety medallion at the meeting last night and I was able to witness this. Very proud and honored to witness this and be able to walk the path of sobriety with him.
- Getting to celebrate my brother’s belly button birthday with family tonight.
- Two days off. Much needed.
- My Bible study friends being so caring and concerned about my knee.
- Ibuprofen for the aches and pains, including my knee.
- A sunny day, albeit windy.
- My dog, Jax, seeming to be on the mend.
- My cat, Skeeter, being his adorable self.
- Being able to spend time with my husband’s ex-wife at the grandson’s birthday celebration and it not be uncomfortable.
- Getting my Federal & State tax refund yesterday, on payday no less. :)
- God continuing to work in my life.
- Waking up sober and nicotine free another day.
- A roof over my head.
- A little money in my pocket. :)
- That I am liking who I am and not worrying so much about who people want me to be.
- Good music, some brings back good memories, some bad, but they are all memories and what makes me who I am today.
- This site. I may miss some days here and there but I am grateful to come back to it. :)

1. Day 4 at work out of 7 and counting the days till the weekend. Yes, I I know I should not wish my life away.

- Good music to start my day and get me out of my funky mood. Also, it brings me back in time.
- Good coffee.
- My son making me laugh this morning as he does most mornings when I see him.
- My dog, Jax, happily eating his food.
- Being aware that because I start out my day feeling down, that it doesn’t have to s stay that way. I have choices and tools to change this.
- The sound of my cat, Skeeter, meowing in the distance.
- A good breakfast to start my day.
- A day off. Glad, as it is hard to go to work early in the morning when I wake up feeling this way.
- God and all his mercy.

March 15, 2018
- I can afford my mortgage this month and have been able to for quite some time. There were times when we could not afford it
- My dog, Jax, is doing better. Fingers crossed he continues.
- My son came home and told me about a date he had last night.
- I have two days off before I go back to work a long stretch.
- I have a job to go back to. Thank you to my supervisor and God.
- I am getting to know some wonderful ladies in my Bible Study. Thanks to Char for inviting me months ago.
- I am sober this morning once again and truly grateful. Also, I do not need to pick up a cigarette today….again truly grateful.
- It is looking more like Spring out there, even though it is only 22 degrees on the lake shore.
- I get to get a hair cut today.
- Maybe an A.A. meeting this evening.
- I am slowly thinking about dating again. It is a bit scary though. I have not dated since my husband and I first started in 1989. In God’s time, I will get back out there.
- I have some motivation to get this house picked up and cleaned today.
- My cat, Skeeter’s cute meow as he ran to me after breakfast :)
- I am getting motivated again to lose weight. I am also not letting the fact that I sound like a broken record keep me from doing this. One step and one day at a time.
- I was able to get my life insurance updated again after they switched computer programs for benefits at work.
- God is in my life and I am truly, truly grateful. :)
Tuesday….3/13/18
- God’s grace.
- Love.
- Having a good employment and health insurance.
- My son learning to do his own taxes.
- Good books to read.
- My dog and cat.
- Being able to see the good even through the clouds. ;)
- Good pizza coming to my house LOL.
- A good night’s sleep ahead.
Nice Sunday off.
- Still a little this morning but grateful for some good sleep time last night.
- Church service good as always.
- My pets and my son.
- 32 degrees out but still nice and a gentle snow that stops as quickly as it starts.
- Good Chinese food for lunch.
- Getting my PIN number for my debit card that was lost so I can activate it.
- God.
LIfe is good.
- Today is a great day to be alive.
- I get to live this life.
- God loves me and I love God.
- The Sun is shining. Thank you God.
- East won in hockey last night.
- My dog Jax is feeling better.
