Never Too Late To Be Grateful

Got busy and forgot this morning but it’s not too late.

Air quality is a little better. Grateful we didn’t damage ourselves walking my last Spring Fling Hike. (We wore N-95 masks)

Cake because it was my grand daughter’s birthday last week. Face Time with her and sweet Vivi. 9 months!

Bought lots of pop to sell at Stow 4th of July parade. Thought it would be a simple purchase. But had to go to four stores. Hoping for thirsty people!

Bought 18 lbs of hamburger. My magic touch it will feed 150 people.

Movie plans! Always fun to anticipate!

Simple Things

Feeling good after feeling off. Grateful for body that can rebound.

A good night’s sleep. Refreshes and rejuvenates.

Air. Air quality alert makes me grateful for clean air. Be careful Hubby!

A warm hoodie. Bonus that it has Eeyore on it!

Summer flowers. Such a variety. I know some by name. I love them all.(Even the weeds)

Seeing a friend as I was leaving the Nat. She was going to physical therapy for her new knee. Hugs!

Simply Grateful!

Help From My Friends

Dentist at Church quipped asking for help is like pulling teeth. Happy that people are responding to my plea for help for selling water, drinks and popcorn at 4th of July parade.

Only response to selling raffle tickets is my sister in South Carolina. She is a supporter!

I AM NOT A CLONE (I am not a robot!) Realizing I can’t do it all! Faith!

One offer of prayer support. Can you also make it a hot, sunny day?

A donation of popcorn leads to more. Ask and you shall receive!

Will make popcorn and bag it up Monday. Someone offered to help with that. Someone also is going to show me how to use the popcorn machine. I can be taught!

Just realized the eye appeal of displaying the popcorn in the machine, Thankful for inspirations.

Picturing a successful fund raiser!

Sunday and Monday

Worship and fellowship. Good sermon about trust and faith.

So grateful that he didn’t post pictures of fallen ceiling as part of sermon.

Tummy ache.Fasting. Simple foods. Nap. Macaroni and cheese. (Gluten free)

Skilled phlebotomist, Fast appointments. Eating after fasting.

A little rain. Felt wonderful as I walked to the car. I need to hydrate inwardly too.

We will water the flowers if don’t get more.

Nephew finished his walk on El Camino. Took him 30 days and he posted breath taking pictures each day. What an accomplishment!

Grateful Everyday

Making gratitude a habit even over the weekend. Birds sing every day I will express myself too.

No excuses. Blended days with some have to and some want to. Rest for the rest!

Grateful Hubby is feeling ambitious when I’m feeling lazy.

The search for a shoe has unearthed many other things.

Birthday wishes to oldest grand daughter. The many pictures was a walk down memory lane. She is grown  with one of her own. Sweet memories.

I listed her age wrong on Facebook. Now can’t forget to call her. Card is unsent. Batter out!

Fell out of bed but I got up. Important to remember to rise. (Even if it’s hard)

Rise and shine!

Friday- Week in Review

The Book of Charlie by David Drehle has wisdom. Do what’s right.Do your best. Keep your daubers up! ( Author wasn’t sure what a dauber was but interpreted it as resilience.)

Read it twice took notes and thoughts in it cause me to take note.

Chapel ceiling fell down. No one was hurt. Not our main Worship area. Congregation is pulling together though Fire Department cordoned it off till Structural Engineer can determine next step. We are shocked but grieving together.

Feed the hungry. Comfort the grieving. Encourage one another. Be available to pitch in. Plan for the future. Be hopeful. Listen.

Determination to earn my Spring Fling pin had me at three hiking areas yesterday. Each walk was short and I enjoyed listening to music as I traveled between the areas.

Twinsburg Trail was only a quarter of a mile. Birdsong, flowers, a play area in the woods. Milkweed blooming everywhere. Come monarchs!

Hike and Bike. Not much to see and no marking of which way to go. More milkweed and the beginnings of red raspberries. What no portapotty?  Making do if you know what I mean! LOL

Furnace Run A quarter mile is not enough for this park, Chipmunks, children laughing,a lake, a stream, happy dogs and owners. Hiked to second bridge sat on a log and was happy to see the car. A bottle of water tasted divine.

Posting on We Love Gratitude again. Katharine welcomed me back heartily. The ripple effect brought Carol and Diane here. Thanks for your welcome!

Goals

Heading north to hike a trail. Grateful weather is cooler and I have time and energy.

Keep me safe as I travel. Grateful for expressway but cautious too.

If enough stamina I’ll swing west to do another. Want to complete Spring Fling!

Swim class was energizing and innovative. Love to sing and swim.

National Kiss Day. Blow a kiss or plant one. Seal a letter with a kiss. Be creative.

Figuring out a plan. Baby steps. Don’t forget to pray!

Hubby is washing. My goal will be to put my clothes away. (Why can’t I leave them in the basket?)

What’s for supper? Hard to decide when not hungry.

All will be revealed!

To Do

Top of my list-Choose to be happy! Woke up grouchy and need to shake it off!

So off to swimming where a kind word and a smile from others and moving will also release some calories

Finished a book. Then read it again. The Book of Charlie-Wise and wonderful

Knowing what I’m having for supper. Food secure! So blessed ( Wish it would cook itself!)

Weeds have a right to life! You are safe here!

Watering the hanging baskets and being glad we chose not to plant in the ground!

Need to wash but have a washer. For six months we did without.

Hubby knows I’m snarly. Smart man!No to do with him!

Much to do but I’m going slow and steady till I find myself again.

Priorities

Making gratitude a priority

Creator God overseeing and guiding me.

Grateful for the energy to be of service. Church fed 150 people Sunday in drive thru.

A funeral for a well loved woman. Grateful to be able to provide a meal for those who attended.

I am still here. Hubby is chugging along. Mein kinder are well! The grands are grand. The great is great.

The beauty of the Earth. The thirsty flowers rebound after a drenching.

Another week of life to get my priorities straight.

(This Gratitude List is because Katherine said she missed mine. (

March 1st

National Pig Day! Bacon, insulin and so much more.

Yesterday was National Tartar Sauce Day so went out for fish. Restaurant was almost empty so left a hefty tip. Be kind!

Day before was International Polar Bear Day. All my polar bears came out to spruce up the place. Memories of all those bears!

An old poster on this site, Lucy gave me a diorama of mother, babies and Eskimo.Love it!

National Fruit Smoothie Day today. Guess what I had for breakfast? (So happy they make it with apple juice as my tummy does’t like milk.)

Working on my Lenten project 40 days/40 bags. Have managed to get rid of a bag of stuff everyday.

Grateful for the sunshine.

Grateful for kids and grandkids so I wrote and told them why. Very fulfilling!

Wrote a note to myself. It was hard. But I’m grateful I did it.

Whatever you celebrate today do it with a grateful heart!
