Feeling Better

Haven’t felt good nice to feel better.

Is it a cold? Is it something I ate? Is it stress? Questions that don’t seem important as I get my strength back.

Attacking each symptom with an over the counter counter spell.

Writing class won’t come in on Zoom but they will send a recording.

Indian Summer nice to have a warm day.

Good that its a quiet week so I can focus on recovery.

The leaves in Ohio are splendid this year.

Enjoying a lollipop the bank teller gave me.

Looking forward to tomorrow when I will be even better.

Little By Little

Grateful we are making progress on moving bedroom.

Even though we both have been sick we are reaching the final steps.

Grateful for over the counter remedies and tissues.

The many blankets that have kept us warm while we are in temporary bedquarters.

Trusting that things will work out OK.

Envisioning the end result. (The curtains look great)

Little by little Inch by Inch Life’s a Cinch!

TGIF

Week had its challenges but had high points too.

Grateful for new windows. Nice installer.

Fun to go see Disney Immersive. Pretty drive. Observant driver when truck changed lanes.

I’m feeling better today. Hubby still coughing but not as sick.

Quiet days. Good sleep. Being able to let things go!

Trusting that there is a plan but making phone calls.

Head hurts. So I stop!

My part of service is written out. Printer won’t print it but I can read.

Everything worth doing well is also worth doing poorly. Just do it!

Choosing

I  choose to be grateful though I had an unexpected thing happen.

It didn’t change that I have friends who care.

It didn’t change that the sky is blue and sun is shining.

Five morning glories in the bush by the car.

I have everything I need the rest will fall into place!

Maybe next October I won’t even remember that which has me rattled!

October 4th

Grateful for all that has happened. New bed and new windows. We have come so far!

Trusting that the problems they found putting in the windows will be fixed and funded.

Grateful Hubby is better. His cough had me worried. He is my other half!

Friends who listen. Friends who remind me to have faith.

Summery weather! Enjoy! Cold is around the corner!

May today be a good one! No surprises!

Grateful Today

Rainy day! Can’t go out and play but good day to read and nap.

Grateful for good Dr’s visit. I know it’s part my doing but happy to see a lower number on the scale and hear my A1C is down!

She even decreased my diabetic medicine!

Rewarded myself with a $20 thifting spree! Sweaters that will keep me warm this Winter.

A pair of pants in my favorite color.

A tissue when you need it! My cold is almost gone!

Hubby says he’s better. I pray it is so!

Singing gratefully at choir though I don’t like the one song! I will sing it to the best of my ability!

Up

Imagine two ladies making their way up a trail. One would advance then hand off the hiking staff to the other and we went step by step up the hill.

Don’t remember laughing but we must have looked comical.

We made it up!

Grateful for trails that will be easier!

My spirits are up as I’m finally on the other side of my cold.

Up early to go to swim exercise.

Tomorrow Drs appt. Think my weight is down!

Going upstairs today to look for Fall clothes.

Keep looking up! You got this!

Grateful For Weekend

Friday night family time. Bears repeating!

Grateful for quiet Saturday as we have colds

Grateful Hubby”s COVID test was negative. Will watch him for bronchitis!

Meaningful Church service, Sermon about forgiveness.

Singing Amazing Grace. Love that hymn!

Rest before EJ which I attended as a guest instead of usher. I was home before 7:30 p.m.

Calling my sister would have been easy not to do but she was so eager to talk. We talked till my phone went dead.

Grateful for my family may I never push them away.

10 o’clock and all is well!

Something Was Missing

Like being told you couldn’t sing I felt empty to not be able to express my gratitude. Thank you Crystal for the prompt fix.

Having three emails for Crystal I sent my distress to all three and Messenger too. Funny in retrospect! Dear friend thank you for your tolerance!

Thank you Karen for telling me she was having trouble too.  I was sure it was just something I was doing wrong.

Dinner with family last night. Marvelous! Good food and lots of catching up!

But the empty chair represented the sister who wanted to be there and the ghost who should have been.

Grateful for problems solved and patience!
