September

Playing songs about September and there are a lot of them.

Even one about the 21st of September.

Cold symptoms mean cold medicine. I want to say I don’t have time but body is saying make time.

Busy day today but know I can do it.

Oatmeal and a cup of coffee.

Anticipating a nice rest this afternoon.

Balance of work,rest and music!

Look for signs of Fall we are on the cusp!

I’m Back

Thank you Lord for restoring my energy.

You woke me up early to put an idea in my head.

Today is my great grand daughter’s first birthday. She is so patient and sweet.

Watched videos of her party and felt like I was there.

Posted some pictures on Facebook of her.

I will get to see her! It is a mission!

Up to swim this morning- it’s been a while.

Carol posted a picture of a single heavenly blue morning glory! Heavenly!

Hubby washed my clothes. So grateful!

Side conversation with Karen I missed her!

Grateful to be ME and feeling better!

Smile

Dental repairs that go well. Kind dentists who let you relax.

My teeth. They allow me to chew and talk and sing well.

The marvelous things I have tasted. Sweet, savory and rich.

Pictures of people I love grinning from ear to ear.

Don’t like my smile but know it has welcomed and reassured people.

Smile and spread some joy. Me , I still have Novocaine!

Overflowing

Overflowing with gratitude for all I experienced at retreat.

Loving and being loved. Contentment.Sharing and caring.

Breathtaking house. Essential elevators, comfy beds, classy kitchen.

Grateful to have made it down the hill. You could get mesmerized by the night sky.

My friends and I. New and old! Sisterhood.

Laughter and tears, happy and sad!

Stayed off of social media. Mostly! Such a good decision.

Let the good times flow then let the waters calm.

Take Time To Be Grateful

Morning glories growing wild in the shrub. They only last one day but every day they delight me. Makes me realize I have a responsibility to bloom.

Achy muscles from things  I’ve accomplished. It’s a process!

Checking things off my lists.

Traveling tomorrow! How can it be Retreat time already!

Thankful for child’s help. Grateful to have family.

The car starting. I will never take that for granted again.

Busy days but fruitful.

I got this!

Monday Gratitudes

If you think you’re too busy to take time to be grateful you need to prioritize.

Be grateful first and everything will fall into place!

New week! New opportunities!

Lists! Help me keep things straight.

Balance between activities. Amazing what you can get done.

Taking time to go see a movie today!  Big Fat Greek Wedding 3! Oompa!

Car is back in driveway again. Grateful for mechanics you can  trust.

Cooler weather. Love so many things about Fall!

Pictures of my great are great.

May the water of the pool soothe my aching knees!

Today will be a great day!

Silver Lining

” Every cloud must have a silver lining”

Finding gratitude when things are going haywire.

Cloudy days to break the heat.

The car could have cost more. We have the money to fix it. (It’s fixable!)

Car has new brakes. We made it through that expense and will make it through this.

Ironically the new mattress is silver We will get it set up soon.

Heeding the signs that I need rest.

Grateful for the silver linings of friends, family and God’s guidance.

Ful

For Worship I’m planning I’m going to be asking people to think of words that end in ful.

Grateful and Thankful

Beautiful and Colorful

Restful and Peaceful

Faithful and Insightful

Joyful and Cheerful

My life is full. Let me absorb the fullness!

Storms

Grateful that though the weather has been wild no one hurt. Inconvenienced yes but no casualties.

Friend’s mailbox smashed by a tree. Ironically had to be replaced earlier this Summer when a driver mowed it down.

Was there a siren or an alert? Not important just learn for next time.

Grateful to all the people who get us up and running after a storm. Too many to list.

Preparing for window people. Good thing to pull the furniture out now and then. As we have moved things around it looks like a storm went through in here.

Wishing for inner peace. Hoping we are doing things in proper sequence. Keep me calm .

Prompt for today. Progress. The goal is to progress to progress!

Busy Weekend

Weekend of prepping and serving 150 meals through drive thru at Church leaves me grateful for my helpers especially my Hubby. Grateful for the food to fix and blessings to those that receive it.

He grew weary so I took over oven duty. Four ovens two racks each. A blast of heat every time they opened. Grateful for fans and water. Grateful for energy!

When ran out of food I created a specialty sandwich out of things on hand. Grateful for the inspiration! Glad to have it too as we needed it.

Worship. Music.Mischief! A “Crazy” sermon! A Church Chat to start to think about Fall.

Newlyweds might buy a house. Grateful for their opportunity. Hope it works out for them.

Large pizza Saturday night was so good then and Sunday too.

Skipping water exercise as charlie horses in my legs signal the need to slow down.

Grateful to be able to take my friend to a Dr’s appointment. Thankful car is fixed.

Grateful to be busy. Grateful to have time to rest. Grateful for balance!
