Last Week Of July

Grateful for the many blessings of July and I still have a week to go.

Grateful for health and healing. Hopeful that M recovers without incident.

Peace and inner calm. I can keep my wits about me even when chaos threatens.

Letting go of frustrating things. Grateful how unburdened that makes me feel.

Rose of Sharon has a bloom when did that happen? Probably in response to the downpour the other night.

I will treasure this last week of July as if it were Christmas in July!

Looking

Friend having eye problems. Grateful for my vision. Praying for a solution for her!

Grateful what I can envision when I anticipate.

Grateful for the memories I can picture.

Amazing when a memory pops up on Face Book that you don’t recall.

Grateful for colors. Summer is rich with them.

My hydrangea is blooming-bright blue!

Look around so much to see!

Miracles

My card made it to Carol quickly. She called to tell me.My postcard from her is taking the scenic route. Do you see all the miracles of communication there?

Miracles of relationships!

Storm approaching looked gruesome grateful it was not devastating.

Grateful to meteorologist who keep us up to date. “Greenish” sent some people to the basement.

Amazing how the grass greens up after rain. Happy birds looking for a worm or two.

Two trips to the grocery store to replenish our food supply. Almost anything you can think of is available. Grateful for food. Grateful for enough money to buy it.

Steak tonight. A special treat. We made it to another Friday.

It Matters

It matters when Carol likes my haiku so much she asks to post it on Facebook.

“Synchronicity   You can live your life in fear    Or look for magic!”

When Hubby rides with me to Walmart though he doesn’t need anything.

Active listening some friends are going through some heavy things right now.

Prayers and healing. Messages of hope!

Forgiveness-shaking my mental Etch A Sketch every night.

Never believe it doesn’t matter. You are essential and the things you do matter!

Magic is elusive but you’ll find it!

All I Need (And Most Of What I Want)

Grateful to have everything I need!

Sick Hubby makes me appreciate well one.

Meal give away. Grateful for those who didn’t panic when we ran short. All got something though the last meals were creative. Grateful for my creative crew.

Thankful for those who gave their time and their energy when our chief cook and bottle washer was sidelined.

Air quality alert makes me glad for days the air is refreshing.

Back to swimming. Why am I tired? I have earned my weary.

Getting the house cleaned up grateful for my things. The call to downsize does not recognize I love my stuff.

Powerball at astronomical figure. Its fun to dream but better to appreciate!

I have a good life!

Soothed

Grateful for the quiet rain. Many challenges this week but the rain calms me.

Hubby is better. Never realized how much I would miss him or worry about him till he got sick.

Friends stepping up to prep for meal. Didn’t hear any complaining! But heard lots of laughter!

Simple supper. Baby steps. Keep drinking Hubby!

Feeling in control is soothing!

Coming To My Senses

Reading a book where author extols her five senses and perception. She begins this book because of finding out she is in danger of losing some vision. Suddenly everything is vivid.

Vision and colors. Bright, beautiful and bold.

Hearing. Music and messages.

Taste. Subtle and succinct.

Smell. Comforting and cautioning.

Touch. Bracing and embracing.

Be aware and come to your senses!

Grateful For It All

Grateful for Hubby. He isn’t feeling well and house is too quiet  without him.

Grateful for my sisters as we mourn the passing of a cousin. Grateful oldest sister is recuperating.

Grateful for friends. They are essential. Connections to one another.

Finding wisdom in a book. “Be grateful for the fleas” Corrie Ten Boom

Grateful to be of service. Food is purchased for meal give away on Sunday!

Grateful that I have all I need! Everything could be taken from me but if I have friends and family I will survive!

Puzzling Day

Wordle in 3! Yeah me!

Deep thought! Perhaps we all make up a jigsaw puzzle.

You be you, I’ll be ME. Creating a beautiful picture

How did this house get so dirty? I can make a difference!

There is logic to a jigsaw puzzle and to a project. Edges, piece by piece, one area at a time!

Music as I work. What to listen?

No phone till things are done then a walk and an ice cream. Why must I bribe myself?

Have a pieceful day!
