Little By Little

Grateful we are making progress on moving bedroom.

Even though we both have been sick we are reaching the final steps.

Grateful for over the counter remedies and tissues.

The many blankets that have kept us warm while we are in temporary bedquarters.

Trusting that things will work out OK.

Envisioning the end result. (The curtains look great)

Little by little Inch by Inch Life’s a Cinch!

NEW WEEK AHEAD

  • New week to work, grow and advance.
  • God is with me each step.
  • Seeing my coworkers.
  • Having a heart to heart with my manager, expectations, etc.
  •  Being kind to myself.  I won’t be 100% coming out of the gate and that is okay.
  • Getting a set routine daily routine again.
  • Getting my sleep back on schedule.  This will be good!
  • More exercise.
  • Losing weight as my job is physically demanding.
  • I am alive.  :)

Weekend

  • Family time before I go back to work.
  • Church.
  • Cold weather but I can stay warm.
  • Good music list set for the weekend and the new work week on my Spotify.
  • God.  So good to me.
  • My back is feeling better.  About 95% healed. Just in time for work.
  • The beautiful sunrise this morning.
  • The air got colder than the lake so there was a little lake fog on the horizon this morning.
  • Gas prices going down.  Good for my heat. :)
  • This site.  Glad I can always find my way back.

FRIDAY

  • Grateful for another day.  God is so very good to let me see it.
  • Missing my cat, Skeeter, but also grateful for less responsibilities during my recovery.
  • I go back to work Monday.  The more I think of it, the more it will be good to get back.
  • 48 degrees on the lake sore this morning and 64 in the house.  Grateful I can handle that temp.  At some point, I will have to turn the furnace back on. :)
  • Comedy.  It does wonderful things to my mental health.
  • Nice warm blankets to cover me on the couch when needed.
  • My Amplified Holy Bible that came in the mail today and has large print.
  • The sunrises when I can see them over the lake.

TGIF

Week had its challenges but had high points too.

Grateful for new windows. Nice installer.

Fun to go see Disney Immersive. Pretty drive. Observant driver when truck changed lanes.

I’m feeling better today. Hubby still coughing but not as sick.

Quiet days. Good sleep. Being able to let things go!

Trusting that there is a plan but making phone calls.

Head hurts. So I stop!

My part of service is written out. Printer won’t print it but I can read.

Everything worth doing well is also worth doing poorly. Just do it!

  • I am upright, breathing, walking and talking.
  • The beautiful, fresh air outside.

Wednesday Gratitudes

Back to tutoring reading at a local grade school.

So glad to be back in the classroom.

I love love love to read so it means a lot to me to help students with their reading skills!

Lunch with husbandTom, which is always a privilege!

Spending time with my friend David.

Delicious leftover dinner.

Jeopardy with Tom!

Choosing

I  choose to be grateful though I had an unexpected thing happen.

It didn’t change that I have friends who care.

It didn’t change that the sky is blue and sun is shining.

Five morning glories in the bush by the car.

I have everything I need the rest will fall into place!

Maybe next October I won’t even remember that which has me rattled!

So Grateful

This has been a tough day

But then I remembered how healing gratitude is!

So thankful to Paul for helping me clean out garage.

Morning glories are still blooming – heavenly blue.

Out to dinner with Tom

Watching Jeopardy is our routine – Tom is really accurate!

Watched the movie, Dumb Money – still don’t understand it.

Grateful for this life and all the chances and choices!
