Busy Day

  • Trying to cancel my old phone account. Grateful for patient people. I at one point wasn’t. ☹️
  • I got my dental bill paid off today. Hooray!
  • It is a beautiful day weather wise up in Duluth, Minnesota. Cooler temperatures are coming, but it’ll still be good.
  • Five more days to enjoy off before I go back to work on Monday.
  • I got up and did my prayer and meditation. God is so GOOD!
  • I  got to hug and give my neighbor, who had to put her dog to sleep, my condolences.  Grateful I could do that.
  • Good books to read on the way to the Mall while riding the bus.

October 4th

Grateful for all that has happened. New bed and new windows. We have come so far!

Trusting that the problems they found putting in the windows will be fixed and funded.

Grateful Hubby is better. His cough had me worried. He is my other half!

Friends who listen. Friends who remind me to have faith.

Summery weather! Enjoy! Cold is around the corner!

May today be a good one! No surprises!

Harmonies Of Gratitude

📔 Gratitude Journal: The Gift of Music

💡 Reflecting on the Beauty of Classical Music:

This morning, I found myself contemplating the vastness of the music world that I have yet to explore. I realized there are countless conductors I have yet to discover, an abundance of musical variations, recordings, and concerts awaiting my attention. It struck me that all of this creative brilliance is simply given to humanity, taken for granted.

It’s fascinating to think that nobody has ever requested a specific piece of music from a higher power, something that would deeply nourish their soul. No one has asked for a composition that would become intertwined with their life’s moments, memories, and emotions. I’m referring to those profound emotions that arise from within us, from the depths of our uncontrolled, unconscious selves. It’s the unspoken connection between sound and our inner cosmos that allows music to touch us on such a profound emotional level.

Moreover, nobody consciously chooses to become passionately involved with music—it happens naturally. Perhaps that’s the true beauty of it all—the way things unfold without reason, without plans or efforts, manifesting spontaneously.

⌛ “Your task is not to seek for love, but to find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
