Audible. I love regular books but it is nice to listen to books also.
Good coffee.
Uplifting quotes I read online.
People who make me think about things. May I never lose the ability to do that for years to come.
Rain. People are tired of it here in Duluth, Minnesota but we sure needed it.
The DoorDash man who shopped for and delivered my groceries earlier today.
Good fruits, chicken, vegetables, etc. Trying to eat healthier.
The sun is out! I woke up to a dreary and foggy day. Grateful to see the sun.
Getting to the point where I turn the furnace off. Easier on the heating bill.
My son. I love when he texts me at his lunch break. He doesn’t do it every work day and I don’t expect it, but it is lovely when he does.
Last but never, ever least…..GOD.
Breathtaking Spring! Grateful we can see colors and marvel at the new life.
On a hike yesterday we saw about 20 deer or the same 5 or 6 – 3 or 4 times! They watched us and we watched them. A mutual admiration society!
Spring flowers if you took the time to look. Amazing how a dandelion and violets look together.
Thanks to Carol for taking pictures. Actually grateful for pictures. Love on my phone!
Today is youngest’s birthday. When I was 34 they were only God’s plan. I marvel at them!
I wrote them an email. Its important to tell people they are important. Marvelous M!
ME time. Hubby mowed. I’m being more selective in my activities. No exercise class and no regrets! The important things will get done.
May May be majorly marvelous!
Tonight we celebrated Mary Ann’s birthday
She is 89 years old! An icon in our church
There were 13 of us – laughing, talking, eating
Mary Ann was wearing a beautiful wrist corsage
The service was amazing
Food was great and abundant
What a terrific evening!
Today I am grateful for:
Waking up to see a new day.
Getting rain….much needed.
God…my savior.
Laughter.
A great team to work with.
Family.
Good friendships.
Being able to treat my son to an early birthday present. A Rock concert here in town.
Vacation. Today is day one of seven.
The beautiful Lake Superior. Even on windy and rainy days, it is fascinating..
I was able to attend my sister-in-law’s funeral a couple weeks ago. She was only 63 when she passed. It was a beautiful funeral. She will be missed.
Good books and good music.
Attending a family friend’s surprise 60th birthday party the other night. Good conversation, good food and happy to be there.
Each day I am upright, breathing, walking and talking.
A peaceful day where I slowly woke up. No rushing out the door.
lunch with the Highwatch team from our church – Unity Chapel of Light
the food was potluck – a delightful array of deliciousness
we talked about new ideas for the future
and our new wooden prayer box
we talked about this and that
Of course we prayed
High Watch members take turns holding the prayer box during service
If anyone in the congregations want to talk and/or pray after service, we are available
I feel so blessed to be affiliated with this church and this team!
Tom was gone all day so I played from 11 am to 8 pm!
I started a master list from all my odds and ends of notes
An hour nap was delightful!
Enjoyed my Havarti cheese snack
Started bingeing on Palm Royale on Apple+
Called my friend Shirley
Arranged my flowers that were gifted to me this morning
An extravaganza of putzing!
With credit to Carol’s Helpers, I am inspired to make my own list:
Gratitude as a tool to let go of frustration and the general grouchies,
Clothes that need folded. I’m so lucky to have so many clothes that I love.
So many that I need to start a pile for the thrift.
Yesterday I found a top to wear to a party and even had a gift card to pay for it.
Today I found a pair of pants at the thrift.
Frustrated that khakis won’t fit but losing weight is a process. More movement. Less food!
Also found a coffee cup that says Pray,Pray,Pray! (Amen!)
Bought shirt that I love so much it’s on!
Wrong food got taken out of the freezer. But had more lasagna that could be microwaved for Hubby.
Then I got to eat the thawed cabbage roll.
Ready to start straightening up the house. Letting go of put upon that I’m doing it myself.
Music helps. Breaks do too. Tomorrow is going to be wonderful!
Letting go of my woes. Welcoming my blessings!
