Grateful On Day After

Tornado (or high wind) touched down only 20 miles from here. Grateful that its path did not come this way.

Grateful for the meteorologists who track and report.

Facebook site where everyone was checking in.

Changing our plans because library event was cancelled. Thanks for cancelling and thanks for letting us know.

Spring brings tornadoes in my part of the world. May I never take it casually.

God bless anyone who was impacted.

Grateful for home. Grateful for today!

Spring!!

Spring is a wonderful time for new beginnings!

The many miracles of snow drops, crocuses, hyacinths, tulips, daffodils and more!

Blooming bushes and trees – magnolia, cherry, azaleas, dogwoods and more

The promise of gardening around the corner!

Feeling so hopeful as Spring unfolds.

Sitting at my Hollywood writing desk and looking out the window as my precious dogwood buds proceed!

Let’s hear it for Spring! Hip hip hooray!

Wednesday Grateful

It is Spring! After rainy, dismal days the screen turned to technicolor.

Living in peace with the weeds for they are essential to the ecosystem.

My garden has tulips I don’t even remember planting.

Hubby has cut the grass twice. Hurray for him and cheers for new growth.

Rain is coming but hope storms hold off.

Did you see the eclipse? Breathtaking!

This  journey ,where we meet everything we learned , and with love unlearn it.

I am grateful for my journey with Love.

In the past I used to think that what is called love only exists in a romantic relationship with another person.

/Now, my perceptions  about love, and inadvertently everything else, has changed.
Love became an integral way of flowing congruently in the momentum of my life.

/Love comes to be a way of showing up in reality, in facing some harsh realities we are living.
Fact is i have to get up so early, and sleep early as well. If i didn’t get up with love and hope, how would i ever go on with my day!

/ Working out after this long day might feel like a punishment, but love evolves the relation between my body and my mind and makes them push each other forward, instead of holding back.

/The concept of searching for a meaning for my life would become pointless and even discouraging if i am not aware about my self worth, and have the adequate self compassion.

/Self control and discipline have no meaning without loving the self you are controlling so you are letting it go as far as it can go, giving it  the sense of direction in the right way.

/Love empowers saying no to things you don’t value. Love empowers passions and interests. Love writes poems, and speaks of the tiny miracles. Love paints eyes with kindness.
/Love is the manifestation of how God is present in  reality.
Hatred, depression, and anxiety are the manifestations of the endless journey with ourselves, not with others, not with reality, not with God, not with the devil.
This  journey where we meet everything we learned , and with love unlearn it.

“Kidding “

Gratitude journal

‘Kidding ‘

A remarkable series by Jim Carrey, where he discusses indirectly  his own experience in life, I think, in the most compassionate, an actor can reflect on his own life, way written yet. Grateful for the emotions I felt while watching it. I felt grief, joy, misery, enjoyment, love, happiness which is the most weird combination you can feel while watching something, also as a cinema lover it was so much fun watching those amazing cuts, production design, and the brilliant acting of Jim, Frank Langella and others. Grateful for actors in their eighties, sixties, and fifties who still give their best to the acting carrer. I love when I sense discipline, dedication in other people, thus adds a lot to their value for me, and teach me more about self respect and contiuos endeavors towards better things. Grateful for the inspiration, the blessings that came with fine drama that reflects on your soul like a meditation in life  and a prayer for the salvation of your own heart.

Another Day of Gratitude

  3. endless support
  4. brilliant young minds, wise beyond their years
  5. beautifully flawed, genuine moments

  7. the gift of another day
  8. family always, they are the best part of me

Contentment

Grateful for the piece of nature I enjoyed this week, sometimes through smiling when seeing the sunset and sunrise because it reminds me of how beautiful is the world I am living in, and how simply I can find beauty around me, other times when I sense how beautiful is the scene of tree’s green leafs with the blue sky in the background while walking to the grocery store.

Grateful for what is working in my life. Grateful that I can pay my bills because this gives me a sense of autonomy, and I think this   Is an important thing to feel in my journey to be a grounded mature person. Also, it is giving me more wisdom during the process of making decisions, and in a way a path to the journey of being a responsible person.

Grateful for what is working in my life. My writing is helping me feel better gives me contentment and fulfillment because it helps me connect the dots , and sometimes may help or inspire others. My writing is making me discern contemplate, ponder over what I really want in my life because through writing I am able to ask the most provocative questions, that no one would ask  except myself. My writing might be in sometimes insightful, meaningful which helps me grow through learning about myself and the world.

Grateful for what is working in my life. My endeavors are improving my life because this is how I find the meaning of living now, right in this place, right in this moment.

Grateful for what is working in my life. My friendships that had been a great learning  experience along the years because it helped me to discover myself through pondering over interpersonal
