A Happy Book Day!

Tutoring reading this morning in fourth grade!
:
I love the book we are reading:

“The Spiderwick Chronicles”

I read the first one and got two more at the library today.

And today I got a much awaited book at the library:

“In the Form of a Question” by Amy Schneider

I came home and read for the afternoon!

She’s my favorite Jeopardy contestant and she’s a great writer!

Got a speaker to play music on my cell phone today – hooray!

Dear God – thank you for the privilege of this day.

Feeling Better

Haven’t felt good nice to feel better.

Is it a cold? Is it something I ate? Is it stress? Questions that don’t seem important as I get my strength back.

Attacking each symptom with an over the counter counter spell.

Writing class won’t come in on Zoom but they will send a recording.

Indian Summer nice to have a warm day.

Good that its a quiet week so I can focus on recovery.

The leaves in Ohio are splendid this year.

Enjoying a lollipop the bank teller gave me.

Looking forward to tomorrow when I will be even better.

Bye Bye Cold!

Thank you to Mucinex and Delsym cough syrup
for pulling me out of this cold faster than I thought possible!

Thank you to Lawson’s Chip Dip and Ruffles Potato Chips,
a traditional family solution to any illness!

I took a wonderful Zentangle gourd ornament class tonight
which was fun and engaging!

It was at the Akron Art Museum which made it even more fun!

So grateful not to be sleeping my life away!

Thanks Taylor Swift!

Woke up early and got a lot done.

I am trying to train myself to get up earlier.

I’ve got up 8ish 4 days in a row!

I am totally a night person – a reading night person.

Saw Taylor Swift’s The Era’s Concert tour movie with my daughter.

It was stupendous! So much energy! Amazing! 3 hours!

Now I am a Swiftie sure!

Yippee yo yo YO!

Good Week

  • Back to work and grateful for a great team.
  • I made 20, 000 steps a couple times this week.
  • Good conversations with people whom I regularly ride the bus with in the mornings.
  • Getting to work early because of the bus schedule change.  Nice to not having to rush through skywalks.
  • My hip held up well.  Knee was a bit stiff and back still a tad sore, but grateful I could have help or it might have been worse.
  • Early mornings.  I forgot, I actually enjoyed them, even though it took a minute to get used to getting up early.
  • Nice welcome back from my managers and coworkers.
  • Not dreading walking to and from bus stops or walking further to get the bus downtown.
  • God was with me each day. )
  • My 32nd wedding anniversary coming and going and it was less painful.  May hubby RIP.
  • My mother-in-law turned 90 years old.  God bless her!
  • I was exhausted and people were so kind and told me to give myself some grace.  It is the first week back.

Thankful Thursday

Little By Little

Grateful we are making progress on moving bedroom.

Even though we both have been sick we are reaching the final steps.

Grateful for over the counter remedies and tissues.

The many blankets that have kept us warm while we are in temporary bedquarters.

Trusting that things will work out OK.

Envisioning the end result. (The curtains look great)
