Gratitude journal
Grateful for today.
Grateful for special moments. Grateful for this moment when my grandfather opened an old family photo album, and started telling the story of each person in there because i felt more intimate to my past, and that is helping me complete my distorted, or may be weak, identity to the family. Grateful for being aware of the importance of family bonds. Grateful for being there for my grandparents because, I believe, they need at this period of their lives to be heard, to talk, to laugh, to remember, to interact, they also need to confirm the purpose of their lives, which might be raising their kids, giving them the best they can give, and being good parents, through telling me how they lived, how they raised their children, what circumstances have they faced!. Grateful for these free lessons offered by life..

Gratitude journal
®️ My dad who has forgiven me for a lot of mistakes i have done in the past.
®️My daily commute to work, and the time i am given to right my journal and listen to music.
®️Treadmills. I love this way of exercising because it gives me some time to call my family on messenger and it doesn’t affect the quality of the exercise.
®️My bed room. The carpets, the wardrobe, the desk, a door with blue glass. My pillow and blanket.
®️ My endless funny conversations with no beginning and no ending with my close friends.

Today
I awaken with a great sense of gratitude.
I realize how fortunate I am to be alive and relatively healthy.
I can enjoy using food as a fuel for my body and not a crutch or something to eat when I am bored/sad/happy.
I can enjoy new music to me. Thank you shadisamy.
I can stay focused on things today.
I can enjoy a wonderful church service.
I can like/love Karen. That has been a struggle off and on in my life.
I can work out at the gym yesterday without being in pain minutes into the working. Thankful for my Ortho doctor for my new hip and also thankful I kept up the PT for 11 weeks.
I can enjoy the sunshine even if it is chilly out.
I am sober and nicotine free. LIfe is good.
I can enjoy time with my family
Last, but never least, God in my life.

Ah! February
I happened to be up as January flipped into February at midnight last night. Hurray for February.
No matter what the Groundhog says tomorrow we are closer to Spring.
Trying everyday to reach out to a couple of people. We can support each other.
Grateful for a mild January. Never had to shovel.
Grateful to the trash men who take things away before I can chase after them and change my mind.
Grateful for busy days. I will be tired tonight but justifiably so.
