Acceptance, Gratitude and Grief

1. Love this: take a gratitude walk!
2. What a beautiful story of using a gratitude rock (it’s about breakups, but I loved the sub-story about the husband and wife)
3. Unexpected phone calls
4. When something works out better than planned
5. Motivation from unlikely places
6. Acceptance- finally. (I injured, rather, re-injured from a bad break 10 years ago, my ankle while running last week. I had to go through all the stages of grief: denial “It’s fine”, anger, bargaining and depression before calling the doc and making an appt for tomorrow.)
7. Finding 1001 ways to be grateful to be couch-bound (this is not the easiest task, but I’m getting through it!)
8. Perhaps finally starting to catch up with things (and vowing to never over-book myself that fully again)
9. Fresh, cool water
10. “To spare oneself from grief at all cost can be achieved only at the price of total detachment, which excludes the ability to experience happiness.” -Erich Fromm
