Independence Day

Napping at the Church then wandering to the kitchen at 6:30 a.m. to see some of my favorite people ready to work together at the pancake breakfast.

Start with a prayer then overcome the glitches.

Laughter and fellowship.Patriotic Thing One and Thing Two. Marvin’s Mohawk. My Church family!

I was amazed at the diversity of people who volunteered. Young and old. New and long time members. One God. One Church. One mission.

Smiles and greetings. Raffling a basket for Freedom House in Kent. Grateful to support the vets!

Families gathering for breakfast and then the parade.

We will be home before the parade since we started early.

Circulating to see where I could be of use. I enjoyed talking to different people.

Here we go and go and go! I would guess 600 meals served.

Hubby so tired but satisfied that 2017 is done.

Meg brings us plates of picnic from her picnic. Yum!

God Bless America!
