♥ Friday Faith ♥

Today I Am Grateful:

1: That I have a peaceful house all to myself right now

2: For Pandora Radio – I’m playing quiet instrumental music which is going beautifully with the sound of the rain on my roof

3: For RainyMood.com – on days when there is no rain and I really just need to hear the soothing sound of it!

4: For being daring! I gave myself bangs tonight! I cut my own hair on a whim and ♥ LOVE ♥ it!! Wonder what hubby will say when he gets home?? LOL

5: For laughter! Not long after I added my fringe, I opened a fortune cookie on facebook and it read: “Change is happening in your life, so go with the flow!” That just made me laugh so long!!

6: For taking a chance – I asked someone a question tonight and it will be interesting to see what she has to say for an answer… one never knows unless they ask, right?

7: For knowing that no matter what the answer is from number 6 – that I’ll move ahead with the project/challenge I have in mind for myself anyway. It will just be more fun when things work out the way I’m envisioning them!

8: For not giving up – on myself, on my husband, on my kids… I’ve had some really stressful days so far this year (and it’s only April?!? LOL) and sometimes giving up and walking away is the tempting, easy answer. I am so thankful that Love has kept me going because things really do get better if you just let go and trust that they will.

9: For tears – they can be as cleansing as rain

10: That I’ve been reaching for healthy foods when I want to eat out of emotions. I am an emotional eater and when I want to drown myself in chocolate – I allow myself a Dove Dark Chocolate Promise square or two and pair it with chocolate milk made with Hershey’s Dark Chocolate syrup. And when I decide not to give in, I reach for an apple, or my fruit salad, or my Yoplait yogurt instead (okay, so I still have those with a glass of the Dark Chocolate Milk! LOL)

Gratitude makes sense of our past,
brings peace for today and
creates a vision for tomorrow.
