10) my half marathon training is complete.  I stuck with it and on Sunday I’m going to do it!

on this Wednesday, I am grateful for:

  1. morning smiles before coffee
  2. cooler temperatures and less dust in the air
  3. taking a risk and telling the truth, even after many decades, still…
  4. a friend who caught me up on things at my alma mater
  5. being asked
  6. being understood
  7. medicine: miracles held inside plastic bottles
  8. relief
  9. better breathing

Yeah ! Its’ a great day.

1.) Kisses that make our toes curl up.

2.) Walks in the early evening with my husband.

3.) A well cooked meal, that leaves everyone wanting more.

4.) That it has finally stopped raining.

5.) The wild little violets that are growing in my yard.

6.) A really good book to read.

7.) Laughter, and a warped sense of humour

8.) Egg white omelets at Subway !

World Laughter Day this Sunday!

1.  World Laughiter Day is Sunday, May 1

2.  The Laughing Clug of N.E. Ohio is celebrating at Hardesty Park in Akron, Ohio

3.  At 3 p.m. the public is invited to join us in a huge laughing circle!

4.  This annual event is celebrated all over the world in stadiums, fields, with parades, and more!

5.  It’s “Laughter for World Peace”

7.  The Laughing Club of N.E. Ohio meets every Saturday at Cuyahoga Falls Library (Ohio)

8.  at 10 a.m., we do laughng exercises (no jokes) for almost an hour!

9.  laughter is good for your heart, lungs, lowers your blood pressure, releases endorphins for good mood and more!

10.  Our Mary Ellen is the most enthusiastic laughing facilitator for the Laughing Club of N.E. Ohio

11.  We are doing a “giggle box” for an “Inventor’s School” for children tomorrow night — hooray1

 

 

Just Wondering Wednesday

1. Just trying to figure out all the in and outs of my MP 4 player. It does more than I thought but since I’m not technological I deleted a song trying to turn it off.

2. Why do worry about money? There is always enough.

3. Why do things have to cost so much? A bump on a car door will have to be turned into insurance but at least we have insurance.

4. Just wondering  why life is so complicated. Like waves on the ocean things settle down and then swell.

5. Just wondering why life is so busy at times.

6. Thinking about things I’m sad about and trying to see the silver linings

7. Hypersensitivity and being glad I’m not most the time.

8. What word would I put on my shirt that defines me and holds me back? (This idea is from Glee last night.)  What is my power word?

9. Why do people say hurtful things when they love you?

10. The power of journaling I  will discuss all my issues with someone who knows me and loves me, ME.!
