• the reminder to be grateful. It’s amazing how quickly I let the habit slip when I’m away from my email and miss the daily reminders.

1. So often, there are no words – and even on the phone – I can hear what his heart says to me.
2. Cards – greeting cards with wonderful or funny or sentimental words – and now music!
3. email and facebook that sends my thoughts in words and even pictures and that I can catch up with others in an instant.
4. My cell phone that not only makes phone calls so I may speak my words and thoughts and feelings – I can email and facebook too! (if I want).
5. Policy and Procedure words that are clear and concise, that assist me to be the best I can be in my work.
6. Puzzle words that keep me thinking and sharp.
7. Ok – I admit it – profane words – sometimes there just doesn’t seem to be another words that fits when I stub my toe in the middle of the night and then fall down trying not to trip over the dog.
8. Soft words of consolation and comfort that surround me like a warm, familiar blanket.
9. Jokes and heartwarming stories – those that are “clean” and leave me smiling long after their ending has come.
10. My favorite words:  “I Love You” both wonderful to say and to hear – don’t you think?

1. Easter weekend began with a very frustrating day on Saturday…

2. Took our schnauzer, Pepper, to the Vet where she was diagnosed with diabetes…

3. She had to stay overnight at the animal hospital…

4. While we were at the animal hospital for several hours, we received a call that my sister had fallen…

5. We took her to the ER at the hospital where we stayed for 4 hours…then we were able to take her home…

6. Stressed and exhausted (above is a long story made very short) I thought about We Love Gratitude and decided to be grateful for many blessings, among them our own wellness and ability to help where needed…I knew everything would be good!

7. Easter Day dawned as beautiful, sunny and warm!!!

8. Woke early and prepared our home for Easter dinner and festivities for eleven of us.

9. Took time out to get Pepper and bring her home…she’s well and peppy as always!

10. My sister is home and improving with mobility getting better each day!

11. Our family members arrived and we had an especially great and fun day that brought joy to our hearts!!!

12. Have faith…feel gratitude…those rainy days become sunny again! :)

1. Today is our 3rd year wedding anniversary!
2. We are a great team; God, Jerry, and I!
3. Celebrated our anniversary with Nigerian Food (Fufu) & Madea’s Big Happy Family!
4. Not missing work due to illness.
5. Taking care of myself.
6. Being able to stay home and watch “Beyond the Blackboard”.
7. Laughing and crying which revealed a problem I didn’t know I had.
8. Access to health care and treatment
9. Rest!
10. Lots of time to read and reflect!
