Gratitude for Paparoonio!

1.  Last night my Dad told my friend Jean that he fakes speaking Italian.

2.  Then he paused and said, “It works better when the person I’m speaking to doesn’t know Italian!”

3.  My Dad is the best conversationalist in the whole Universe!

4.  I never know what it going to come out of his mouth.

5.  I always make sure that I keep pen and paper handy to record at least some of his witticisms.

6.  There are far too many too catch.

7.  He told me once that his secret to longevity is his appreciation of good looking women!

8.  He was a Glider Pilot in WWII, and at the Fourth of July party, two different younger men sat with him for very long periods of time asking him about his adventures and listening with great respect.

9.  My Dad’s girlfriend is 64 years old, and is feisty and wonderful — they’ve been together over 3 years!

10.  At 94 years old, my Dad has a huge vegetable garden, lives on his own, drives his own car and is the amazing patriarch of our family.
