Grateful for Winter but Spring is Coming!

1.  The Countdown to Spring has begun today — 71 days!  Hooray!

2.  When the weather gets really terrible, I always know how many days until the Annual Dance of Spring!

3.  My friends and I have tea and beautiful cookies, then we dance around a tree that is surrounded by a fairy garden, waving scarves!

4.  Here’s a Winter happiness — I have my blue fur Cookie Monster coat out now!  Yippee!

5.  When snowflakes land on it, they are suspended and on display!

6.  People make fun of my silly, blue fur coat, but I am glad it makes them laugh!

7.  And I have wild multi-colored boots!

8.  So I get a lot of fun out of Winter, too.

9.  Overall, I am grateful for weather — it is magical what happens “out there”

10.  And I am grateful to live in Ohio, where we have definite seasons to enjoy.

Thank You, More Please

Watching a movie and in one scene the characters are speaking of gratitude making your life better, so when you you are thankful for something you should say Thank You, More Please, to attract more of what you want!  I started using this right after the movie!

So I am Thankful for the following and want more please!

Love in my family and all through my life

Money in the bank, enough to cover any debt and more than enough to enjoy life

Many blessings

Smiles and Laughter

Health

Motivation to lose weight, keep it off and exercise

My job and Coworkers

♥ Sweet Saturday ♥

Today I Am Grateful:

* that the doctor was able to see my husband on short notice this afternoon – he really needed what doc sent him home with

* that my parents were able to watch the boys for the few hours we were at the MD office – yes, I said hours, so the boys would have been bored stir-crazy for sure

* that the neb treatment helped my hubby breathe a little easier for awhile today

* that my father-in-law is allowing us to borrow the car for another week – lots of appointments coming up this week

* for how excited my youngest is getting as he realizes his birthday is coming up fast! LOL We’re celebrating with Nama & Papa this weekend – actually, it’s almost time for cake now!

* that I am going to savor and enjoy every bite I have of the birthday cake!

* for finding the perfect cupcakes for my youngest – he wanted chocolate cake with chocolate chips – I found chocolate cupcakes with light chocolate icing & a mini Chips Ahoy on top! He loves them!

* for believing in myself – it feels groovy!!

bodyguards of grace

Very grateful for~

God’s silent nights
reading through a new cookbook with Kim
lunch with Judy
a year of graces calendar

being ok with it, not contorting myself in a forced ok, but just being ok
how shadows really are bodyguards of grace…some go before and some follow.
an early morning text
Amelia’s refusal to be a victim (despite very effective models)
Supportive emails from Carol

Joy is always a function of gratitude~~~and gratitude is always a function of perspective. If we are going to change our lives, what we’re going to have to change is the way we see. ~Ann Voskamp
