Seeing the lake change as the sun set

The aroma of neighbors’ bbq’s

Hearing the Cowboy game on the tv and folks cheering

Knowing some of the neighbors’ names

Ruby, finally responding to the word “heel”

Seeing the first few baby stars pop out
