Your list reminded me that when I was a little girl, we had a stone wall that was lined with irises, yellow and purple ones, and along the east side of our house, there were about 10 peony bushes! I loved seeing those every day when they were in bloom. I would love to see a picture of the field of peonies!! I had no idea that it took 8 years from seed to flower. Amazing! Thank you for sharing that!
