A feast for the senses

Noticing and appreciating the things that I sometimes take for granted.

A warm breeze blowing, and creating a humming sound as it blows around the corner of our house

Trees swaying in the wind

Leaves fluttering on the branches

Waves of tall grass, bending and flowing like the ocean

A brilliant blue sky, with wisps and puffs of white clouds

The sweet taste of a banana mingling with the tartness of a fresh peach.

Savoring the aroma and taste of one last Coccia House pizza before the pizza shop closes for a two week vacation.

A new recliner for my husband to enjoy

Savoring the deliciousness of salted dark chocolate

Ginger ale

About Ruth

I am married to Dave, my long lost love. We have 3 beautiful, wonderful daughters, and a home filled with peace and joy! I began writing gratitude lists about 15 years ago, and they have made a huge difference in my life. By taking the time to notice all the amazing goodness in my life, I open myself to receiving even more good. I've also found many new and wonderful friends through the gratitude community.

  1. Salted dark chocolate — it’s the berries. Walgreens has a new ice cream called Vanilla Chocolate Twirtles under the DeLish brand. It has swirls of salted chocolate and little chocolate candies that have caramel in them. Oh me, oh my!
