Winter storm advisories…mountain passes, 4 in. snow above 5500 ft.
We have two large passes, south and west of the city
Remembering when GPa drove over one of the passes early one morning with a 2WD pickup, lots of snow, the plows had not been out…he rescued a motorist who was stuck and stranded (as he had done many times over the years) :)
I’ve always been grateful for his knowledge and ability to travel when we’ve been surprised with less than ideal weather conditions :)
