Off the top of my heart

Grateful for the cool days. I’m spending a lot on the time porch sitting.

People driving by wave.

Life. Too many funerals lately. Subtle reminders not to miss the party.

Living. Make every day an opportunity.

Laughter. Seriously people,smile!

Lemonade fresh squeezed or store bought

Watermelon,strawberries and blueberries Oh my!

Corn roasted on the grill

Toilet paper . Such a versatile convenience.

Appreciate today as if it is a gift after all they call it the present!

Gratitude for Friends!

Heard from a precious friend today.
I was so grateful to get an email from her!
Friends are amazing —
Old ones, new ones, all kinds of friends!
If it has been a while, catching up is fabulous.
Sometimes I don’t have contact with a friend for
a while, but reconnecting takes only a second!
Our book group is cozy, loving, and amazing.
The other book group is new, but fun and
getting more interesting each month.
And then there are the fabulous Island Girls —
we rock the Universe!!!
Church friends are so wonderful.
Neighborhood friends are so incredible.
Friends here and there,
Friends everywhere!
So very grateful.

I see

I see -how absolute;y  incredible!

I see better with reading glasses . How incredible that I can buy them #1 a pair.

What do I see? The sky,the river,my favorite tree, summer explosion of flowers and green.

Who do I see? Smiles of friends. the faces of my family, Facebook sharings, little baby Oliver.

Where do I see? I imagine the ocean. I picture my daughter’s trip. The ocean is mesmerizing and overwhelming.

I picture solutions to the things that weigh me down and suddenly I’m unburdened enough to sit on the porch and SEE my neighborhood.
