Digging deep

Where are you grateful spirit? Why have you gone away? I feel as if I speak my words will be bitter and sharp. I’m a fraud to say I greet the day with joy today. So I did deep and if I can find a glimmer of gratitude I will find a shaft of light.

Thank you for the picnic I attended yesterday. Nicole’s family and friends embraced me as one of their own. Good food and good conversation. Nice afternoon.

Thanks to Meg for inviting me. She knew I would be alone and bored. They even picked me up. (And were patient with the human GPS)

Another pancake breakfast accomplished. Seeing families coming in to eat. Seeing Church members all working together.Someone I knew long ago talking about his grandkids.

Meg and Nicole coming for pancakes. I accompanied them on a tour of the Church. My ancestors founded this Church.

Working out the details for an extra cleaning job. So happy Kim will help.

Julia Cameron has a new book for “seniors” Must find my copy of Artist’s Way. It’s been too long since I read it.

The view from down low requires looking up.
