Spending the afternoon reading and napping in an air conditioned cave

Reading fast at the end of a book to see what will happen

Watching a house appear when it was very dirty (drywall is the worst)

Thanks to Garrett as he shared a story of traveling to E.B White’s home

So thankful that my daughter got her apartment situation arranged . Bless their happy home

Leftovers from dinner for lunch

Smiling at the Great Popsicle War of 2016. Happiness is being married to a mellow fellow.

Must find time to watch the Sorcerer’s Apprentice because donations for the rummage sale are feeling like that. They just keep coming!

Stranger Things on Netflix. Very entertaining!

Promises to myself to get my body moving!

The promise of cooler weather!

Family

  • Grateful for my grandparents willingness to stand close by and support everyone in our family, no matter what.
  • Grateful and envious of  my older brother and his confidence.  I’m so proud of him for achieving extreme happiness.
  • Grateful for my younger bother for caring so much for everyone in our family.  He is the most caring and kind person that I know, in his own subtle way.
  • Grateful for my beautiful Mom for supporting me always and never judging any of us. She is always there for us and we are very lucky to have her.
  • Grateful for my Dad for our forever friendship and our conversations about life. Music is his life and I’m grateful for him passing on his knowledge.
  • Grateful to be alive and healthy.

Flipping frustration into positives

If we don’t straighten the house we can do it when its cooler

If I have to work longer today I’ll make more money

If my favorite client quits I can consider downsizing my load of work

If hubby is driving me crazy I’ll enjoy the pleasure of my own company

If we go out to eat I can have pie (Did -coconut cream-Yum)

If I don’t get to the laundry I can cut up old tshirts

I we don’t watch the Opening Ceremonies I can tape them

I I can’t renew the book I’m reading I’ll take some notes about it

If I take things step by step I won’t drown

Stay cool! Stay positive!
