One thing at a time

I woke up and I got up. I’m imagining my day in parts.

Go to Water exercise. Crowded but greeted with smiles. It was hard to make myself get out of my warm bed but part of my plan for February.

Sitting down and eating breakfast. Half an apple chewed slowly with a breakfast sandwich. Taking time to eat and savor instead of just gulping it down. Feels strange but will get easier.

What corner will I clean today? Sorting through dirty clothes I am amazed at our abundance.

How amazing that we have a washer and drier in our basement.

Scheduling down time and my time.

The promise of a book that is by an author you like.

Alexa to give me music . The music sets a rhythm and a mood.

The best thing about today is what I can make of it.Simple things done exquisitely. Mundane become magic. I can! I will! I have!

  1. I love to read what you write because it’s always interesting. I’ve always wanted to attend the exercise swimming but I have always been afraid to go alone. So much anxiety says:
