Service in a Service

Laity Sunday is here with all its anticipation. Between the two services thirty people are directly involved.Add the choir and the diaconate and the number pushes eighty. Grateful for everyone!

Thank you Jonathan for your hard work preparing the speakers and finding the youth and writing the first prayer.

Thank you Chuck for allowing me to  help plan the music. Thank you for your patience when I changed a song.

Thanks to those who have checked in with me.

Get well Dorothy. Sorry you can’t do your part.

Thank you Lord that I am well.

To God be the glory. I can’t wait to see the service God has woven.

I loved the above line in your post. It warmed my heart. Have a great day. :)

  2. I second Karen’s sentiments, and add that you are one of my favorite writers, Mary Ellen. Your ability to paint with words is unparalleled.
