1. Goddess

2. Bringing Cassie coffee in the morning.  Feeding Pegasus and appreciating him rubbing up against me.

3. Scratches on the neck for Lantana.

4. Morning meeting and chatting with Sherri, Alison, and A.K. during the meeting and after meeting.Alison sent me a lovely picture of a horse farm she went to, and I sent her a picture of the geraniums I bought, which she liked.

5. Trip with Cassie to Hadley, Mass., which is asparagus country. So many farms growing and selling it.

6. Lunch in South Hadley, Mass., with Cassie. She had a club sandwich and I had the Diablo burger with jalopenos and sweet potato fries.

7. Driving around a retirement community with Cassie, also in South Hadley.

8. Going to the greenhouse in Holyoke, Mass., again with Cassie.  I was looking for zinnias and didn’t find any, so I bought fuchsia geraniums. Cassie bought basil.  Her gardens are beautiful, but her eggplant and beans were hit hard by the frost.

9. Going to the Community Feed store in Easthampton, Mass., with Cassie. She bought dog treats and I bought a wonderful book called “Rainbow the Cat: Goes to the Farm.” I shared it with Cassie who also enjoyed it.  Going to donate it to my library for their children’s collection.

10.  Home with Cassie and Lantana and Molly, the dogs, and Pegasus the cat.  I fed Pegasus treats and gave Molly some scratches on top of her head.  It was the first time she trusted me.  I think I made a friend.

11. Dinner at Galaxy Restaurant with Cassie (also in Easthampton). Nice couple sitting next to us.  The woman complimented me on my skirt and I complimented her on hers. The man complimented me on my hat. He was eating the salmon which I ordered but he was allergic to garlic, so he couldn’t have the topping. Cassie ordered the pasta special and I also ordered the salmon, plus brussel sprout and beet salad appetizers.

12. Back home we read our books in the cool night air.  I got so much reading done last night. I read Chapter 3 of the Artist’s Way, and made my way through a good portion of the questions. Also read a lot of Anne Tyler’s Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant. Cassie read Band of Brothers, by Stephen Ambrose, about the paratroopers in World War II.

13. Watched TV with Cassie until she fell asleep.

14. Worked on my 10th step inventory and gratitude list.

15. And now to read before I go to bed. Hope everyone sleeps well.
