Attitudes Of Gratitude (Big Blue Abode)

Hurray! It’s November ! The Grateful month!

Time to say goodbye to the shadows and uncertainties of the past and welcome the new month and its attitude of gratitude.

Grateful for my house . Not just the protection from the cold but the warmth that makes it a home.

Warm meals. Sometimes home cooked, sometimes simple but always eaten together.

Eating out used used to be routine but now a treat. Things come full circle as we budget. But we have a plan!

Forgiving my house for what it is not and cherishing it for what it is.

Watching the snow melt and heeding the warning that Winter will  win but not today!

Cleaning up after being sick. I’m making progress!

My nest to rest on this floor. Nice not to have to trudge upstairs.

Grateful to my blue house. May I not be blue today!

  1. I might try to do every day in November too – let’s remind and encourage each other. I just noticed the we both live in blue houses! Thanks for the idea of blue house gratitude!

  2. I am grateful for your blue house too! I have been bumping into homeless people more lately and I am so grateful to come home to a warm home. It is old and has old windows that leak some air but still a lot better than sleeping in skyswalks for transit centers. Thank you God for letting me feel safe in my home.
