- a slow, cold, snowy day with nowhere to go, which makes me even more grateful for home than usual
- almost completing my “to-do-list
- cleaning and more cleaning with movies on Netflix in between
- a delicious bowl of ham and potato soup with corn bread, for lunch on this bitter cold day
- warmth and shelter, I pray for those that don’t have it in such frigid temps.
- hot cocoa & marshmallows
- the beauty of newly fallen snow… although I am not a fan of cold weather, there is no disputing how beautiful it is
- FaceTime, phone calls and texting which allow us to visit with our children when the weather prevents them from visiting
- new Kindle books and plenty of time to read them while the snow falls heavily and navigating is at a halt
- warm UGG slippers (one of the gifts from my son for Christmas
- clean sheets, freshly shaved legs, warm blankets, warm socks, my favorite pillow and my snuggle buddy…think TOASTY all and be safe.
Always nice to have the warm house when the cold weather comes.
