Inspired by gratitude

  1. A pleasant misunderstanding that lead to meeting new people
  2. Successfully keeping birthday gifts a secret from two of my friends (who are sisters, who share the same bday, 5 years apart.) I used to be so bad at secrets, I would tell the person the moment I bought the gift!
  3. Recently I unpacked the CD boxes, and found 3 CDs I made for my husband, 2 of them before we were married. The first & second I elaborately designed album artwork and lyric booklets, even the paper insert in the back of the cd case! It was fun remembering all the work I’d put into those.
  4. Reading and loving Ruth’s lists has inspired me to tell a few stories in my lists when I think of them. Thanks for patiently reading :)
  5. I’m also inspired by James, who doesn’t post anymore but always ended his lists with “now”. I didn’t get it for awhile, and then one day it blew my mind. I realized that’s one of the greatest gratitudes- for this, right now
  6. I’m also deeply moved that Garrett begins his lists with God- what an incredible way to keep the Source of our gratitude in perspective
  7. Elle, who played frisbee with me ad nauseum today. I love frisbee so much, it’s hard to find someone who will play with me until our hands hurt from catching
  8. I met someone else today who already knew about me. flattering, but also exciting that my work is out there helping people.
  9. Just enough ingredients in the kitchen to make a great dinner
  10. This, now

  1. I, also, love James’ and Garrett’s lists. I am hoping that James will decide to post again. I’m thrilled that you found those CDs! I know the artwork was beautiful, and it’s so much fun to find something you created years ago. A lovely, lovely list, Crystal!

  2. This is such a beautiful list! Ruth’s lists have also inspired me to say a little more in my lists. :)
