Moon

  1. My daughter said, “let’s go see the moon” tonight, and even though it was overcast and not quite dark, I took her outside. To our delight (or her satisfaction?) the moonflower I bought Saturday and planted had bloomed in just the hour or so since we’d been outside! A huge, gorgeous trumpet.

  1. Happy Father’s Day, to dads whose hearts are bigger than their abilities to say it in words
  2. My husband, who is the best dad I’ve ever seen
  3. To dads who hang in there for their kids
  4. Who put up with an awful lot from life, and sacrifice their wants and wishes for their families
  5. Who go to work every day, whether they want to or not, to make sure those who depend on them have what they need
  6. Who give up their own desires, egos, even lives to make time and money for others
  7. Who do it unfailingly, often while moms get all the glory
  8. Who love their children’s moms
  9. Who see the big picture wven when no one else does
