Thank you God for August 18, 2015!

The lion’s mane mushroom chicken soup my mother made!
More corn, oyster mushrooms, zucchini, and cucumbers from the farmers market!
Made pan-fried cod and potato cakes to make use of the leftover mashed potatoes I had!
Being alive and having a great doctor who responds to my emails and cares for my heart and my body; when I am concerned and what I am concerned about.

I had an incredible day today! Blessings after blessings!
All day, the sky was dark and looked like it was going to rain. Thankfully, the weather was dry and warm the whole time I was out to go to the hospital for blood/urine tests. The rain didn’t arrive until hours after I was safely at home and indoor! Thank you God for always looking out for me!
Sold 3 items on eBay today! Yay!
Received an unexpected check in the mail!
Last Friday, God told me to pray that everything will go smoothly when I picked up the catering for the party the next day. So I prayed. I found out later on why He wanted me to pray, and today the problem was resolved! Thank you God for making everything right and fixing everything!
Fried okra, fried green tomatoes, fried shrimp, and buttered corn for dinner!
Got my blood test and urinalysis results from my doctor already and it has never been better! Thank you so much, God, for healing me, for letting my body produce clear urine, and for allowing me to consume foods with sodium!

Beautiful weather!
A day of rest, so no cooking for me, and I still got to eat my daily portion of eggs! Thank you God for always providing for my needs!

Hosted a potluck dinner party with family and friends and everything turned out wonderfully!
The fish we got from the fish market this morning turned out delicious! Thank you God for helping me to not undercook or overcook it!
We got oyster mushrooms and mushrooms that look like curled-up bunnies (very cute!)! I love all the different varieties of vegetables, fungus, and fruits that can be found at the farmers markets!

Got to go to Mass today!
Being able to see the little animals that come out in the summer–birds, squirrels, bees, bunnies, fireflies, etc.
Trips to the grocery store
Being able to help other people out
Having the daily Mass readings easily accessible with my phone- so handy!
Sweet, sweet summer corn!
The eclectic vegetables I get to see at the farmers markets
God answering my prayers and the prayers of my friends!
Serving others and being able to do so is so much more fulfilling and joyful than being served

Got all of the ingredients to make caldo verde for dinner for family and friends this Saturday!
Got more non-GMO organic corn, green beans, and tomatoes from the farmers markets today!

Got to attend Mass, pray the rosary, and pray the chaplet of divine mercy!
What a beautiful day the Lord has created today!

Leftovers from lunch for dinner and food for tomorrow

Genuine sharings and testimonies from my brothers and sisters in Christ
Being able to thank others with thank-you cards!
That God gave me talents
Being able to close my eyes and instantly go deep into prayer, blocking out everything around me. Just God and me.

Getting to take my parents out to dinner and the veggies served were very fresh and superbly cooked!
Got to go to Holy Hour at church to pray

That God gave me a warm blanket and a soft bed to sleep in

Being able to take hot showers with clean water
The bees that built a honeycomb inside my mailbox to make as their home! I LOVE BEES! Thank you God for bees so that our food can grow and we can enjoy their cute furriness and see how hardworking they are and enjoy the honey they make!
Being able to walk, carry things, lift things, etc. A year ago, I couldn’t do these things.
An entire day of peace and quiet! Thank you Jesus!
