I was sitting under a tree and suddenly a perfectly-shaped heart-shaped leaf (that looked completely different from the leaves of this tree) fell on me and then onto the ground. It was as if God was reminding me “I love you.”

This morning I woke up with an intense craving for a lobster roll. I didn’t have time to get one, because I was doing volunteer work for the Ministry Booth all day. God, knowing every big and small desire in my heart and wants to give them to me because He loves me, gave me a lobster roll for dinner!!! In the evening, I had to go to church to plan for the Ministry Booth and sort all of the book donations we received. My parents were planning on going to the casino while I was at church. I prayed that God would prevent them from gambling. Not only did God answer my prayer and my parents did not end up going to the casino, but God also must’ve led my parents to get food, because they got me a lobster roll for dinner and no one knew about my craving except God! Thank you God!

I asked God if I should buy some food to eat for dinner tonight and I heard God say to me “Your sister made food for you,” which is not something that happens regularly. So I listened to God and when I arrived home, my sister DID make food and offered it to me! She made delicious corn fritters and I became full for the rest of the night! I am most grateful that I was able to hear God and that I had the grace to listen to Him and trust Him.
