Blue Christmas

The rendition of Blue Christmas by Porky Pig makes me laugh and laughter is essential to these last days before Christmas.

My Stable Story featured song Blue Skies.

So many things I love that are blue. Skies, oceans, birds and eyes!

Being sensitive to those who have struggles this Christmas. I am blessed!

Asked to do something I don’t want to and realizing I am best person for it.

Watch for blue today it will keep the blues away!

A letter of love

20 December 2019

Grateful I woke up today happy, healthy, wealthy, worthy, positive, confident, blessed, loved, excited about today.

Grateful that I have a lot of favorite parts in my daily routine :
– Grateful for having a near Gym so I can maintain my physical, mental health.
– Grateful for having food on the table for all my meals so I can enjoy them. Grateful for really enjoying the bless of food instead of using it as an escape (emotional eating)
– Grateful for my Bible reading app ( the daily bread) which gives me a bless and a pleasure while using it.
– Grateful for my talking in the phone while I chit chat with my friends and family esp my beloved parents.

20 December 2023

I am still thanking God for the same things .

I am grateful for the feeling of being gifted, being gifted life itself .
I am gifted with my health ,breath ,legs ,hands ,hair , lips, tongue .

I am grateful for the moments that my heart touch the hands of God while listening to music.
I am grateful for the steps we take towards the light .
Music is a step ,a quest ,a letter of love  .

Perspective

Snow is beautiful looking out but glad to have changed my plans to stay in where its warm.

Walks will need shoveled but we’ll whittle away at it. Foot by foot. One foot in front of the other.

Need to go out later to give Christmas away to many families. Christmas you give is more important than anything you get!

Having so much fun with Stable Stories. I’m posting them on Wandering Wisemen. The likes and shares make me happy!

No Christmas tree but decorations in every room. I see exhausted people and I’m grateful for my simple soul.

Cleaning up today. Declaring war on crumbs and clutter I will be content when it’s under control.

People ask if I’m ready for Christmas? No but I will be ready by Christmas (Eve) to stop and just absorb the joy!

Who is strong enough?

I am incredibly grateful for the amazing experiences I had last week. One particular highlight was watching the movie ‘The Peanut Butter Falcon,’ which had such profound and thought-provoking moral. The question that resonated with me deeply was, “Who is strong enough?” It completely blew my mind and filled me with a sense of humility and contentment.

In moments of weakness and vulnerability, instead of succumbing to self-pity and feeling miserable about myself and my life, I learned that I shouldn’t deny my limitations. I should embrace the question, “Who is strong enough?” When I first heard that sentence in the movie, it evoked a deep emotional response within me. Tears welled up in my eyes, revealing the inner turmoil and chaos that I felt. Who is strong enough?

Surprisingly, realizing that nobody is inherently strong enough can be empowering and bring peace. Acknowledging the power of embracing my vulnerabilities and simply being myself in the present moment is a truly unique experience.

I recognize that I am not strong enough to face the harsh, deceitful world filled with lies and manipulation. I am not strong enough to navigate the realm of fake identities. So, with every fiber of my being, I declare that I am not merely strong enough. I am a symphony of emotions, a vessel of passion, and a seeker of truth. I revel in the depths of my vulnerabilities, for it is there that I discover the true essence of my humanity. And with this newfound understanding, I am empowered to navigate the tapestry of life, embracing the turbulent journey with all its twists and turns.

  • Another year is almost over.  Lots of recovery with teeth and new hip, but grateful for the healing and being more mobile.
  • God. :)
  • Family and friends.
  • Reasonably nicer weather for this time of the year, but still wanting snow for Christmas.
  • Memories of family past.
  • Being sober and nicotine free another day.  Neither do I take for granted.
  • The quiet of the morning at my house.
  • Every other Mondays and Tuesdays off now.
  • A good up of Peach tea.
  • My ears are ringing but it doesn’t bother me the way it did when it first started over a year and a half ago.
  • A good night’s sleep.
  • That although I live alone, I don’t have to feel lonely.
  • My job.  Always learning something new.  Good coworkers. :)
  • A new year ahead and all its possibilties.
  • I woke up today and Thanked God as my feet hit the floor. Thank you again God for another day.
