  7. The smooth way the paintbrush glides on the smooth glass
  8. Painting over sloppy lettering
  9. The wish that all of life’s mistakes could also be painted over

Late Summer Gratitude

1. An absolutely lovely lunch with a dear friend!
2. We were talking so intently we didn’t feel the earthquake (!)
3. The nicest postman you’ll ever meet told me about it about half an hour later
4. My husband said he felt it, in the building where he was- everyone was shocked!
5. So far, no injuries reported- hooray!
6. I crossed off everything on my to-do list today
7. And spent time outside in this absolutely perfect weather
8. And went for a walk with my wonderful husband
9. I love watching the leaves juuust starting to turn
