My 17 yr old was staying at a friend’s house, when she came back she told me how grateful she is for everything we have and for how hard I work to provide for the whole family, because she now knows that not everyone has the same opportunities as she does.

I am grateful that I can truly provide not only for my family but for others as well, whether it be the Holidays or just any time of year.

I am truly grateful that my 17 year old is learning to be grateful, so many teens don’t see the world beyond themselves.

I am grateful for this time of year, when people seem to allow themselves to give of themselves without feeling akward.

 Instead of being a time of unusual behavior, Christmas is perhaps the only time in the year when people can obey their natural impulses and express their true sentiments without feeling self-conscious and, perhaps, foolish.  Christmas, in short, is about the only chance a man has to be himself.  ~Francis C.
