Finding Gratitude

My 17 yr old was staying at a friend’s house, when she came back she told me how grateful she is for everything we have and for how hard I work to provide for the whole family, because she now knows that not everyone has the same opportunities as she does.

I am grateful that I can truly provide not only for my family but for others as well, whether it be the Holidays or just any time of year.

I am truly grateful that my 17 year old is learning to be grateful, so many teens don’t see the world beyond themselves.

I am grateful for this time of year, when people seem to allow themselves to give of themselves without feeling akward.

Instead of being a time of unusual behavior, Christmas is perhaps the only time in the year when people can obey their natural impulses and express their true sentiments without feeling self-conscious and, perhaps, foolish.  Christmas, in short, is about the only chance a man has to be himself.  ~Francis C. 1. I think it is sort of funny that if you believe in Angels at Christmas, that is very natural, and almost everyone does. But if you really really believe in Angels the rest of the year — that is kind of weird. lol I love the spirit of Christmas as people get into the love, joy, giving, and all the wonderful gifts of the season that are not tangible. And I believe in Angels all year round! Hooray!
